Turbine blade expertise, a key element in wind power

As blades are a key factor in energy efficiency, we decided to incorporate blade production as a subsidiary company, ACO. A 5000 m² production site at Béziers, France is entirely dedicated to this activity.

Our blades are produced using the latest techniques based on a vacuum infusion process. This method offers many advantages over manual impregnation - including prefect control of resin distribution - guaranteeing mechanical performance that conforms to our engineers’ calculations.

In the wind power industry, meeting production deadlines is a real challenge. The multiple elements that make up a wind turbine, sourced from processes as diverse as mechanised welding, power electronics, foundry and civil engineering make procurement highly complex.

To guarantee both quality and deadlines, we have developed strong partnerships with top-rank suppliers. Sourcing standard parts widely used in many other industrial applications guarantees reliability, least-cost production, managed deadlines and dependability of spares supplies.
