Vergnet will be exhibiting the All-Energy Exhibition and Conference in Glasgow from 6-7th May 2015, reflecting our continued growth in the UK.
Vergnet is a global leader in the distributed wind energy industry and manufacturer of medium scale wind turbines, with a 25 year track record of working with developers and over 900 wind turbines installed worldwide.
In the UK, Vergnet works with partners and developers to provide market-leading wind turbines for medium wind energy projects. We have so far installed medium scale wind turbines to date on farms in in Cornwall, Leicester, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Northumberland, Nottinghamshire, Suffolk, East Lothian, the Scottish Borders and Northern Ireland.
Vergnet’s medium scale wind turbines (GEV MP) are used for wind energy projects from 200 to 500kW.
Vergnet’s UK spokesperson, Diana Popa commented: “We are delighted to be attending the All-Energy 2015 Exhibition and Conference and are excited to announce plans to further our commitment to providing energy solutions in the UK.
“The last five years have seen major growth for small and medium wind projects in the UK, with recent figures from RenewableUK showing medium wind capacity rising 60% year-on-year to 69.78MW. With the UK’s prolific wind resource and the Feed In Tariff (FiT) remaining as an attractive incentive, offering a strong IRR (Internal Rate of Return), we expect 2015 to be an equally strong year and we look forward to delivering upon our commitment to this market.”
Vergnet will be in attendance at the All-Energy Exhibition and Conference in Glasgow SECC from 6-7th May at stand J50.
The event brings together over 6,000 people from around the world including developers, engineers, farmers and CEOs and covers topics such as wind, solar, wave and tidal to renewable heat and offshore maintenance.
The opening plenary session will be chaired by Keith Anderson, Chief Corporate Officer, ScottishPower and will include representatives from Glasgow City Council and the Scottish Government.
